Rachel Tate, D.O.

Dr. Tate was born in Louisville, KY and attended Indiana University where she graduated with degrees in Biochemistry and Modern Dance. She received her osteopathic medical degree from Des Moines University prior to moving to St Louis for internship. Brushing off her cowboy boots, she completed her internal medicine residency at Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth. Dr. Tate then moved to Chicago and completed rheumatology and musculoskeletal ultrasound fellowships at Franciscan Health Alliance.

Prior to moving to sunny Florida, she practiced with her mentors at USMD in Fort Worth and Arthritis Care and Research and Baylor Research Center in Dallas. While in Texas she was involved in clinical research, patient care, and medical education. She continues to contribute to the largest online news source for rheumatologists, Rheumnow.com, where she serves as expert faculty. Her clinical interests include spondyloarthritis, pregnancy and lactation issues in connective tissue disease, clinical research, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and patient advocacy.

She is delighted to be closer to family in West Palm Beach and spends her free time with her husband, Edward, and their rescue pup, Winnie.
