Catherine Garcia, MD, is a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She possesses deep expertise treating all types of rheumatologic conditions; her primary focus areas include rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis and osteoporosis.
Dr. Garcia is a native bilingual speaker (English and Spanish) who prides herself on delivering patient-centric care rooted in compassion, empathy and patient advocacy. She firmly believes that patient education and awareness are critical aspects of delivering exceptional patient care and strives to educate and guide them through these challenging conditions.
Dr. Garcia was born in New York and spent most of her early life between the Dominican Republic and New York. She received her medical degree with honors from Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in Santiago Dominican Republic. She completed an internship in Woodhull Medical Center in New York and an internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Living in Florida for more than 13 years—and nearly a decade in Palm Beach—Dr. Garcia is a proud Floridian. She, along with her husband and young daughter, enjoy spending time in South Florida beaches, parks, museums, libraries, traveling and anything involving princesses, fairies and all things Disney!
